Staff members are the wiki's trusted editors. They are given access to additional functions to keep the site running smoothly and efficiently and to help provide users with the best overall experience.

What are administrators supposed to do?[]
Administrators are expected to be a community guide, and to empower editors to create the best possible wiki. A good administrator provides content and good feedback and counsel to the editors. They may also conduct security to keep you from harming others or spoiling the experience for them. For these purposes, administrators can activate additional functions and can alter areas that typical editors can not.
How do I use administrator powers?[]

Some of these additional functions include:
- Deleting and restoring pages, page histories, and uploaded files.
- Protecting a page so it cannot be edited or renamed by users without admin rights or auto-confirmed status.
- Blocking IP addresses or user names from editing; and very quick "rollback" of undesirable edits.
- Editing the interface by changing system messages and skins.
Becoming an administrator[]
For you to become an administrator, someone with bureaucrat rights must make you one. Please do not ask to be an administrator. Active administrators are aware of users' contributions and know who would make good admins.
If there are no active bureaucrats and you wish to become an administrator or adopt the wiki, please contact the community staff. If there are other active editors but no active bureaucrats/admins, you should first discuss with them on who should become an admin, whether it be one of you, or all of you.
What can administrators not do?[]
Administrators should not use their administrator powers to settle editing disputes; for example, to lock a page on a version he or she prefers in an editing dispute that isn't vandalism. Administrator powers should be used to help keep the wiki clear of vandalism, spam, and users who make malicious edits, but not for simple disagreements between users acting in good faith.
Losing administrator rights[]
- Admins should be prepared to be active. If they have not made an edit or a post in about 3 months, they will lose their admin rights.
- In addition, any admin can be demoted at the discretion of the bureaucrats at any time, with good reason, provided that the admin is not following the rules or not doing what they are supposed to.
